They fellows got off to work and camp early this morning, I headed out the door shortly thereafter to do the dreaded grocery shopping, as it is not my favorite activity. I did manage to make it back into the house by 9:30 with the bulk of the groceries, but had to get with Mom to head off to Costco. I needed to get that specially request "cake" for the birthday boy. We were finished up with Costco and a couple of other errands around noon. I still need to finish putting the nonperishable groceries away and get started on figuring out the seating arrangement for Saturdays dinner. At least I have tonight's dinner figured out already.
Sean came home from camp with Music and Drama button for doing a good job a acting in his part. Now he can add this to his backpack button collection.
This evening we headed out to Commonwealth 20 to see Pirates of the Caribbean, but...by the time we got there all the shows were sold out until the 10:30 showings. No way we were going to leave out at that time to see a movie so we saw Superman Returns instead. Not too bad, not terrific either. You had to watch it knowing that they were trying to bridge a number of years and introduce another actor as Superman.
