It's a wonderful morning to wake up to here. 66-degrees with dew on the grass, I can feel a nip of Fall in the air. Now this afternoon will probably be back to Summer, but for now time to breathe in the coolness of the morning.
Carla is having her ususal itchy spell, it's either a flea or allergy to the grass, so she's going on benadryl for a while. That ususally helps to releave the itching for her. It's just so odd to give her meds, but she does love the peanut butter chaser.
Sean and I went out for a few errands this afternoon. We had lunch out - Sean got a double cheeseburger meal and I pick up some sushi, which Sean promptly snatched several pieces of. We were able to all our errands done and back home by 1 p.m. Sean spent the afternoon playing Asheron's Call and I worked on putting the deck back together.
Alice & I went out this evening for some sister time. Hot chocolate and coffee mixed with us produced some pretty neat ideas for presentation folders. It was a great time bouncing ideas off one another. Next thing I know she'll have a mock up done and ready...probably before she goes to bed tonight, if she is especially excited. Go Sis!

Alice sent me an email with this amazing bridge! On a personal note, I agree with the email author there isn't enough money printed to get me to travel on something like this - okay maybe there is as long as I'm sedated and blindfolded. The original size of this image is 1328px x 681px. Some of you may have to scroll the screen to see the image below if you click on it to see it larger (the image is not as large as the original).
The Millau viaduct is part of the new E11 expressway connecting Paris and Barcelona and features the highest bridge piers ever constructed. The tallest is 240 meters high {262.47 yards-over 2 1/2 football fields} and the overall height will be an impressive 336 meters {367.45 yards-over 3 1/2 football fields}, making this the highest bridge in the world. Be sure to maximize your screen for this. They haven't printed enough money to pay me to drive across this bridge!! This bridge is located in Southern France and is the highest bridge in the world.
According to the Knight-Ridder News Service, the inscription on the metal bands used by the U.S. Department of the Interior to tag migratory birds has been changed. The bands used to bear the address of the Washington Biological Survey, abbreviated: Wash. Biol. Surv. until the agency received the following letter from an Arkansas camper:
"Dear Sirs: While camping last week I shot one of your birds. I think it was a crow. I followed the cooking instructions on the leg tag and I want to tell you, it was horrible."
The bands are now marked Fish and Wildlife Service. Author Unknown
