Tuesday

This morning Sean & I set out to help out with swimming lessons, but they were cancelled due to illness. We made the best of it anyway and just went swimming. We had a great time at the pool even though we were the only ones there. We went to Wal-Mart for some lunch afterwards, so Sean could get his chicken.

This afternoon I worked on the new table top. I sanded it and have put two coats of Kilz over the sealer so that I can paint on it with the acrylic paints. I'll probably get started on the foundational painting this evening after dinner.

Sean is still have tremendous fun eating watermelon, for breakfast and lunch. He'll most likely have some after supper. Sean got a black light this afternoon and has been entertaining himself by running around the house and seeing what glows - one of the fibers in the berber carpet really shines bright. He even found a couple of my shirts that glow quite oddly.

Hallelujah! We have finally gotten some rain. We have needed it so greatly. Everything is beginning to look like it is perking up just from the small amount we have received so far this evening. It can keep this up for the rest of the night and that would just be fantastic.
