November has arrived giving us an extra hour to catch up on some much needed sleep and plenty of rain with much cooler weather.
This morning I've brought in the carved pumpkins to dry off so we can store them for next year and put out a fresh batch of uncarved ones to carry us through Thanksgiving. Gosh, is it only 24 days away. Where has the year gone? It seems like only yesterday it was August.
I'm going to add some fixings to the pot roast leftovers and make some beef stew to enjoy this evening. Perfect weather for it.
