Oh no! ha, ha! Now that, that is over with....
Our/My day got started very early this morning. Walter left out of here by 4:45 a.m. to make his breakfast meeting at Satterwhites; at the same time virtually, Dean was up with the puppy taking her out to potty; and I had also gotten up to check on Lilly also - so I ended up getting her settled back down in a while. On the interesting side to all of this was Carla who let Lilly sleep with her for about an hour - before the little one had to go back outside again. Miracles will never cease. They were extremely cute together, but I would not have done anything to disturb the two of them at that time, especially since I was going to get an extra hour of sleep.
Sean stayed home today. He wasn't feeling well this morning. I've been out grocery shopping for a few thing to hold us through the weekend. I'll pick up anything else we need the first of the week. Sean dropped by the place he got the puppy and finished paying her off. He had a surprise card with some cash in it from Walter to help him finish paying her off. It really thrilled him.
Danielle has gotten their family blog back up. She has posted a few pictures and I nabbed this one just as a headshot. She is really looking more and more like her mommy every day. I see it in their expressions and smiles.
Miss Faith looks so very happy hanging outside. I bet she was having fun playing with the leaves & grass.
This evening we got a little silly and purchased the dogs some nail polish - good doggie nail colors: purple, bright pink, and a couple of others. I painted Lilly's nails bright hot pink while she was sleeping. They look so cute. I started to do Carla's in purple but ... she wasn't in the mood so she only has a partial paint job.
She definitely has been a source of entertainment. We found out that we are lucky that she is sleeping as long at night as she is - the normal time would be about three hours at a shot.

To Have Succeeded
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Ralph Waldo Emerson
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
