Today turned into a massive yard project. Walter came home a bit early and took me out to see what we could find. We ended up coming home with three new river birch trees, a big pot of geraniums, several pots of cilantro (for Walt to use cooking). These were early Mother's Day presents from Walt. He even had the oil changed in the van.After all that shopping we also made a run by Mom's house to raid her yard for a couple of bins of rocks, monkey grass, a couple of bubbie bushes and some pretty yellow flowers. So we now have lots of holes to dig.
Walter put one of the birch trees in after we got back and I got all the rocks put out at the end of the downspouts. Loads of fun.
