Dean had a moving company come by this morning to set up packing up the house for the move to their new place. I've got a bunch coming to help me out on the 7th, so I'm pretty set myself.
I've been reading this morning about the little polar bear in Germany. He had his first outing at the zoo yesterday. Poor little thing - to have so many people watching you out playing I'm surprised it didn't spook him. He is a cute little fellow though. As with all babies it's hard to believe that they actually grow up as large as they do. The photographer for the AP who did all the pictures online did a great job capturing a whole lot of fun.
I've been working on doing some packing this afternoon and sorting. It is a BIG job. So much to go through and figure out exactly what to do with what.
I took a break and goofed off on the computer while Sean was playing WOW next to me. I made a really cute M&M at M&M's site Become An M&M. These are the characters I was playing with today. There is the Tourist M&M and the WebGoddess M&M.
I need to head off to church early this afternoon (probably right after lunch) to paint, and then we have choir practice at 4 p.m. So it could be a long afternoon. I thought that if I painted before practice I could utilize the drying time well.
I was able to get the trees and sky painted on the scenery, before it was time to head off to choir practice. We had a director of music candidate come this afternoon to practice with us. He is from Pennsylvania, by way of Texas and Virginia. Our practice went well.
This evening, Mom & Dad came by to pick up some of the stuff that is going to need to be stored out at their house. Some deck furniture, grill and other stuff from the tool shed. That was one truck load of stuff out of here, with many more to go. We have put the word out looking for someone who may be interested in purchasing the riding mower. We're also looking for someone who would be interested in the refrigerator as well. There have been a few nibbles of interest, but if it comes down to the wire, we'll just call Goodwill to pick up the stuff.
