A Day of Discovery

Here we are already into another week Walter & I have been searching the house high & low for his wallet that was last seen on January 20th. I have been through virtually every box, bin and drawer in the house. Well, I got a little note from Walter just as I was heading home from work today letting me know that he had made the great discovery....he found the wallet.

Now before I tell you where I must say the he had already purchased a new wallet, you know buy a new one and you find the old one. He was trying everything before making the dreaded call to the bank for a new debit & credit card. He finally broke down and made the call at the end of last week and low and behold I found his debit card in a box of desk stuff. Today he found the wallet in an ammo box. And as luck would have it today his new credit card arrived in the mail, just what he had been trying to avoid in the first place by putting it off. Hmm....

His message said that he must have been on drugs when he put it there, which is absolutely true. Pain killers from his surgery must have really had him loopy for it to have been put in there. Following the train of 'fuzzy logic' involved with putting your wallet in an ammo box - it would be a safe place. And as luck would have it today his new credit card arrived in the mail, just what he had been trying to avoid in the first place by putting it off. Hmm....

An update came in on what we thought was a dog attack on the cats in the neighborhood. Turns out that it was a grey fox. It had apparently been roaming around the neighborhood and met up with a car sometime in the last day or two.
