I sprung a surprise on Dad this afternoon. It took multiple phone calls to Mom's cell phone and a few peremptory messages left at Alice's house, but it worked. He and Mom met me at Yamato Steakhouse & Sushi Restaurant.
We had a great time together. I order a tempura eel roll - Mom & Dad both even tried some. Dad even had voluntary seconds!! Our chef was quite entertaining as well as informative.
It was nice getting out with Dad. I'm so glad that he enjoyed his day.
