Finished for the Evening

After the blimp adventure this after, I finished up the doctor's book and shipped it off to the publisher for it's finishing touches. So glad to have that done. We're gearing up for our conference beginning Thursday, a whole day early! Normally we just do a Thursday night event, but this time we're adding in an extra day session.

Tomorrow will be for getting together the rest of the documents for the conference. Setting up the conference room and packing up the cars for the trip downtown on Friday.

I ran by Southern States today for some flea meds for Carla. She has been having a fit with them. Here she is almost 14 years old and never had fleas like this. Oh yeah, the odd one or two, but really. I know its from all the feral cats in the neighborhood, but there is nothing that we can do to get rid of them. As the county says, "cats can roam at large".

So in order to combat the flea situation, I picked up some FrontLinePlus and some pesticides for the yard. At least we'll be able to kill off everything in the yard and on her, then work on keeping the cats away. Anyone know of a good cat repellent, other than the dog?

Walt is out and about this evening visiting with friends. I should be working on homework and another little side project, but...

Hey, Walt's home with some of the cutest color pages. It seems that Patrick's kids have taken him to be their uncle, of sorts, so now he gets all the cute drawings and such to put on the fridge. Way cute.
