Sunday

No rain this morning!!!!! Perhaps we will dry out a little today.

Sunday school & church were great this morning. We started learning about the Jehovah Witness' during Sunday school, we only made half-way through the lesson so we have to wait a whole week to finish out the lesson. I missed seeing Ms Danielle & family at church this morning. I hope that they are all are in good health and are getting along well.

We watched a couple of really fun baseball movies this afternoon, Major League: Back to the Minors - it was really fun to watch and loads of laughter; and Little Big League, both of them were terrific and dealt with the team rapport.

Miss Tweat is having a great time with her new perch, she is having fun stripping off the bark. It is a neat to watch her working on making the perch her own.

Choir practice was great this evening, although it seemed that everyone was a bit tired. I think that it was the weather that was contributing to the "tired" condition that everyone was experiencing.

Some of my email correspondents have been busy the last few days providing much of the remarkable humor that I've been posting. Thanks to all of them.

Thought for the Day: "Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love." - Lao-Tzu

Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction

Truth is stranger than fiction, I THINK!

Many will recall that on July 8, 1947, witnesses claim an unidentified object with five aliens aboard crashed on a sheep and cattle ranch just outside Roswell, New Mexico.

This is a well known incident that many say has long been covered up by the US Air Force and the federal government.

However, you may well NOT know that in the month of March 1948, exactly nine months after that historic day, Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.; Hillary Rodham; John F. Kerry; William Jefferson Clinton; Howard Dean; Nancy Pelosi; Dianne Feinstein; Charles E. Schumer; and Barbara Boxer were born.

That piece of information has now cleared up a lot of things.

Aren't They Cute

A man and his ever-nagging wife went on vacation to Jerusalem. While they were there, the wife passed away. The undertaker told the husband, "You can have her shipped home for $5,000, or you can bury her here, in the Holy Land, for $150."

The man thought about it and told him he would just have her shipped home. The undertaker asked, "Why would you spend $5,000 to ship your wife home, when it would be wonderful to be buried here and you would spend only $150?".

The man replied, "Long ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. I just can't take that chance."

First Kiss

So, it's your first kiss and several questions might come to mind:
  • Is it the right time? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
  • Is anyone watching? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
  • Does your partner even want to? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
  • Is your breath fresh? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
  • And... Should you use some tongue? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Then you lean in and just go for it!!!
