Finally Friday

We'll it's finally Friday, another week down. As of right this minute we have no house showings scheduled for the weekend, but that could change on a minutes to minute basis. I'm done some more packing, mainly of the knick-knacks - nothing really strenuous.

The minutes didn't pass very long before we have house showings scheduled. One today from 12-1:30 and two on Saturday 12-1:00 & 1:30-2:30. We do have a contract on the house, but it could change at any minute, because the people that want to purchase it have their own to sell before they can buy this one.

We were able to get together and head out to the grocery store this afternoon. Wow it seems like the store wasn't all that crowded but it wasn't that stressful at all. I did have one humorous event that occurred in the store, "Jerry" decided to jump down and try to make the break. Sean caught him and he was quickly put back in his place. As we came out it was just beginning to mist rain. Hopefully if it is going to rain it will get it over with tonight, since we've got to be out for awhile tomorrow.

Panda Babies

Wouldn't this be a fun job! They are just too cute. This is for those that haven't seen the 16 baby pandas. SICHUAN, China -- One zoo in southwest China has its hands full with 16 baby pandas.

The Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breed Center is dealing with the results of a breeding boom -- 16 pandas have been born since July 2006. The brood includes five sets of twins. The cubs are weighed and measured every five days (see pics)

The heaviest tips the scale at just over 24 pounds, while the lightest weighs about 11 pounds. The pandas are due to stop suckling by February 2007 just about the time they'll start learning to walk. Once weaned, the panda cubs will attend panda kindergarten. In the meantime, more little ones are expected at the center since 38 giant pandas were artificially impregnated.
