Thursday

Well we had some rain during the night - it doesn't look like it was much, but the deck and driveway are still wet so it didn't end long ago.

Last night, Jamie (a wonderful choir member), told me that he boss was looking for a personal assistant. Then she described their office - Italian cafe complete with expresso machine. Her boss even is heading to Italy during his daughters spring break with her class - what a treat. He also speaks some Italian. So...I hastily emailed off my resume(s) to his office late last night. Who knows?? It is always worth a try.

The set design sketch was approved as is for the moment. Dr. Fowler will still have some input, but for now I will be putting together a materials list for the construction. So that Jamie, will be able to present it to the proper people for approval. This should be an easy project especially when there can be help with the construction and base painting. The size is 24' long by 8' high. Not as large as some of my other painting projects but very different in that it is not that detailed and more of a loosely painted piece.

Sean is still suffering from his intestinal bug. We all hope that this is the last day that he has to deal with that. He is suppose to attend his online classes this evening, hopefully since he has had excused absences he will be able to attend. Which would be a great move towards getting him back into things.

Spring was on my mind so much I went out and dug up a pot of peonies for the deck and have one long pot of hostas (the ones that Debbie gave) put into a pot as well. Three more long pots to go so about 9 plants is all that I need. Hostas reproduce just about as quickly as rabbits so it isn't necessary to have too many.
