Sunday

Early this morning, around 1:30 a.m., we were getting some icy/rainy precipitation. The girls wanted to go out and while we were there it began to come down pretty hard. But by the time we woke up this morning, the rain had passed.

Pastor Eaves filled in today for Dr. Fowler, who is in Egypt. He delivered an excellent sermon entitled, "Liars, and the Losers Who Love Them". Very interesting.

We had our first house showing scheduled for 1-2 p.m. this afternoon, but Dean tells me that they did not show; followed by a second showing from 3-4. We aren't sure if they showed up or not. The first group did show up but apparently very late and are going to reschedule.

I headed out with Walter and the girls after church. We put the girls at his place and then headed out to Olive Garden for lunch, while the boys hit Panera - they have internet access there. Walter and I had a terrific lunch starting with an appetizer sampler of calamari, fried mozzarella, and stuffed mushrooms; we had the salad, Soupa Toscana and breadstick for the main meal and we both were naughty and had dessert. I had tiramisu and Walt had slice of cheesecake. It was a great meal. We headed back to get the girls and wait out the final house showing before he brought me home for the afternoon.

It was funny the way the girls behaved at his apartment. Lilly was crawling around on the carpet like an alligator swimming in the water, while Carla danced at his bedroom door behind which was Walter's boys (Butch & Sundance). Carla has a big thing for birds, she seems to be totally fascinated by them.
