Monday

It was so sweet this morning Dean let me sleep in. I really appreciated the opportunity.

Carla is 'complaining' of a sore right foot/leg this morning. She's limping along. Either she has had a little too much rough housing with Lilly or she's hurt herself jumping up and down off the furniture. Either way, I've given her a baby asprin to help out with the pain and she's hanging outside in the sun for some extra warmth. I'm hoping that that will be all that is necessary to help her out.

Dean tells us that he is escorting a group of engineers from Germany around this week so that they can learn how Quimonda operates. It seems that the plant here is doing such a great job that they have come here to learn how things are working here. Sounds pretty impressive to me. That they are doing so well as to have others come to learn from them.

Walter has come over to visit with us for a short while this afternoon. He took off work today to take care of some personal errands.

The girls are all chilled out and sleeping for now. They are much more subdued than they were last night. I hope that they continue to stay this way for the remainder fo the day.

When I went to get my driver's license renewed, our local Motor Vehicle Bureau was packed. The line inched along for almost an hour until the man ahead of me finally got his license.

He inspected his photo for a moment and commented to the clerk, "I was standing in line so long, I ended up looking pretty grouchy in this picture."

The clerk looked at his picture closely, and reassured him, "It's okay. That's how you're going to look when the cops pull you over anyway.
