Recovery Monday

The boys are both recovering from their injuries this morning. Sean seems to be doing better off than Walter. Sean just needs to have a band-aid changed on his elbow. Walter has taken a dose of his meds and gone right back to sleep, which is the absolutely the best thing that he could do.

All those accident details have been taken care of this morning:
  • Calling the insurance company
  • Finding a body shop to come and give an estimate on the repairs
  • Answering all the calls from the guys at work to let them know how he is doing.
So while the boys are recovering - I'm working on the laundry. YIKES! Three baskets full. We brought Walt's laundry over to get it done while I was working on the regular laundry for the house. He's not up to getting it done today, this will keep him from having to lug it around for the next few days.

Good news - the fellow from the body shop will be dropping by this afternoon to write up an estimate for Walter's car; and the insurance company has called to let him know that his medical bills are covered under the auto policy. That will be a big help to him.

The fellow has been here from the body shop - since the hood on the car isn't able to be lifted. He is going to take what obvious damage that there is and add in some possible surprises that could be hidden under the hood and give Walt a call back a bit later with a worst case scenario.

Well Sean has phoned home with the tragic news that his phone has actually died. His display is gone as well as the volume, etc... Thank goodness that his replacement phone arrived today. He and Dean will be able to get it all activated and fixed up this evening.

Walter has crashed out for his second big nap of the day, of course helped along by his pain medication. Lilly is also enjoying the fact that he is sleeping on the sofa, since he gives her a nice new cushion to sleep upon.

Walter finally woke up as did Lilly and the rest of the household was wide awake by dinner time. Walter had an exam this evening. I drove him to school and waited...I was able to use the time for some leisurely reading. He didn't take too long at all to complete his exam. Once we were back home, he and Sean played a game of Quake III. While I snuck outside to take some nighttime photos of the houselights. Nighttime shots are so difficult I was pleased with just getting this one as well as it came out.

They look sooooo Cute. Lilly looks like she could just stay that way indefinitely.
