Saturday Shuffle

This is going to be a day of shuffling and running around.
  • I will be heading off to our final choir rehearsal early in the morning, we are going to be at it until sometime in the afternoon. Hammering out those final few areas that need to be worked on with the drama team. This will be our last before the big show on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m.
  • The Dean & Louise are heading out to do their final round of Christmas shopping. I think that they are heading to the mall to do some shopping a JC Penney. It could be a long and arduous journey for them. They had to put off their shopping until after my practice, as Sean came down with some sort of stomach problem this morning. I do hope that they are able to find everything that they are looking for without any difficulty.
The Christmas practice was terrific! It looks like the play and musical will do just fine. We all worked quite hard and our soloist have done such a fantastic job. It will bring the house down, and cause quite a few tears to fall.

Cute joke from practice - What is the last thing that goes through a bugs mind when he hits a windshield?.....his rear end.

Ornament of the Day: This little gem has been with me since the Christmas before Walter was born. It was a gift in the anticipation of the arrival of Walter in July; so that makes her 20-years old this year. Something to add to the tree to mark that year.

She is a delightful porcelain snow-woman. She was very advanced for her day - being designed to sit on top of one of the individual light bulbs. It causes her to casts a very warming glow inspiring you to want to get up and head out for a mug of hot chocolate while you look at the tree.
