Monday

This morning Carla and I have been enjoying listening to the birds at the edge of the woods. It is still quite and still here. The only real movement is the wildlife. There's not a soul out that I can see. Most are probably taking the opportunity to sleep really late. I slept in until 8 a.m. and of course that is really late for me.

I'm heading out in a couple of hours to pick up Sean, so that we can go to the Grindin' N Grillin' at Mom & Dad's house. Dad's got a bunch of deer to grind and since it's Memorial day; and they have a new deck to break in what better opportunity for us all to get together to help and have some great burgers.

The visit was great. Everyone showed up. Dad can really cook some burgers and hot dogs. There was a game of volley ball in the side yard, while more grinding was going on in the kitchen. Mom & Dad's deck is coming along nicely.

I believe that Sean had a nice time visiting with the relatives.
