Wednesday

I've got the sliding door open this morning - the birds are calling to one another in the trees, there is a crisp coolness in the air; there is still dew clinging to the blades of grass around the patio. Hmmm, what a great morning.

I caught this mallard walking around in a local parking lot. How odd, for him to be there.

Then there was this terrific moon rise...

Walter and I spent a little while this evening putting together some deer jerky. I'll be taking it out of the dehydrator in the early morning.
