Tuesday

I'm looking to have a great day today. Even thought it is already quite humid outside, I'll be snug inside a cool office. My office mate, Heather, will be getting married this weekend, so she'll be out on her honeymoon all next week.

We were working on something at work today and we ran around taking everyone's picture. Heather got me at my desk. I'm getting better at smiling, if I don't say so myself.

This evening we received some GREAT NEWS, Walter does not have to have hand surgery. It turns out that he only broke a very, very, very small bone in his hand that is under the tissue that they thought was torn. Yippee! No surgery. So in order to celebrate he and I headed out to the Thai restaurant where Walter successfully ate a double Thai hot meal. I wasn't sure that he was going to make it through the meal, but he sure did.

I had such a good time with him - I could hardly keep myself from breaking out in a full blown laugh. The glistening on his face is from the spicy food. He did have a Thai tea or two to help put out the fire.

Fishing Advice

Two buddies are fishing, but they haven't caught anything all day. Then, another fisherman walks by with a huge load of fish. They ask him "excuse me, but where did you get all those fish?"

The other fisherman replies," If you just go down the stream until the water isn't salty, there are a ton of hungry fish."

They thank him and go on their way. 15 minutes later, one fisherman says to the other "fill the bucket up with water and see if the water is salty."

He dips the bucket in the stream and drinks some. "Nope. Still salty." 30 minutes later, he asks him to check again.

"Nope, still salty." One our later they check again. "Nope. Still salty."

"This isn't good," the fisherman finally says. "We have been walking for almost two hours and the water is still salty!"

"I know," says the other. "And the bucket is almost empty!"
